From Design Consulting, Real-Estate Staging, Residential Interior Decorating & Design, Commercial Design, and Event Styling Services from concept to completion. Every project is done with the utmost respect and gratitude.
Now let’s get Creative… to get started KMDI will schedule a consult to gain a better understanding of the project, view the space(s), get an understanding of your expectations & goals. From there a proposal will be sent outlining the project discussed, target timeframe, and cost with payment structure.
Don’t need a full-service designer? Just a jump start… we have you covered. KMDI can schedule an in-depth consult that will leave you with an outline of steps to take, places to shop, and some ideas.
If your looking for something in the middle, where you want to be involved, but want some hand holding, Design Consulting can be the perfect fit. KMDI will be available to you for a set timeframe and be there for all questions, opinions needed, guidance, and ideas.
KMDI can work with your contractors, painters, handymen or we can recommend or hire for you, depending on what services your project needs.

Residential Interior Decoration & Design

- Can't pull it together... do not worry; this is our favorite thing to do! New home, new business, or want to refresh that outdated décor; KMDI will execute the goals you have in mind. Creativity is our speciality, our eye for design, and ability to push you out of your comfort zone and into a beautiful space for everyday living.
- Investing in home design and decorating allows you to truly transform a house to your home. If it’s walls that need to be knocked down, additional bathrooms to be added or remodel a kitchen, KMDI will fuse home furnishings, fabric, artwork and accessories into a complete environment for any lifestyle.To reflect the client’s lifestyle and sense of everyday living, KMDI takes a warm and inviting approach to both traditional and modern design.
- Our design services include: interior decoration, full-service design, entire renovations, and virtual design.
- *1 hour minimum. If you decide to move forward with our interior design or decorating services, the consult fee will be deducted from your final bill ( this does not apply to virtual design). Investing in either Interior Design or Decorating is based on both hours plus commission or agreed flat fee.
Staging
Package options that fit all your needs.
Downtown
- Having a great value to any budget, KMDI will focus on the Key Rooms. This staging option includes 1 living room, 1 dining room/area, Master Bedroom, and 1 bath.
- Downtown gives the essentials needed to create a staged look and feel in a home ideal for a space up to 1800 sq. ft.
Midtown
- This is the perfect staging option for homes that the price point commands higher end furniture, more decor, rugs and artwork than our downtown option.
- Staging the same key rooms in addition to the family room, office/study or secondary bedrooms.
Uptown
- Higher-end properties require sophisticated furnishings and a lived in feel. This custom package is for estates listed in the $1 million plus range.
- These homes require upscale furnishings to appeal to the high end buyer. This package is on a full scale decorating level, leaving a model home look.
Living in Home Staging
$150 / hour
- Living in home staging consists of an in-depth consultation which starts with KMDI touring the home with the homeowner. Then, utilizing experience as a successful real estate agent, KMDI will have a "real talk" with the homeowner to educate & share expertise. KMDI will then provide staging techniques along with specific instructions and ideas on how to depersonalize and stage the home to appeal to buyers.
- If painting is required we will provide specific paint colors.
- *1 hour minimum
Onsite Stage
$200 / hour
- Either after our do- it- yourself suggestions have been completed or you just want someone the day of your listing photo shoot or open house, a KMDI expert will come and fine tune the property for you. Our professional stagers will position the items currently in the home for the best possible presentation.
- *Up to the first 2 hours. Additional time will be billed accordingly.
Downtown

Color or Space Planning
$200 up to 90 min
- It can look easy, but that is not always the case. Most people avoid painting a room because it can be stressful and overwhelming. With so many colors to choose from it’s hard to know where to begin. KMDI simplifies the process and creates a perfect color palette specifically chosen for you! KMDI will take into consideration your personal taste, furnishings, lighting, as well as current trends. This service is also perfect for investor clients. You're going to love your new color palette!
- *Professional painter referrals available upon request.
Shopping Services
$95 / hour
- This can be added on to our design consulting or home staging options. During the consultation we will make recommendations for essential items such as bedding, pillows, artwork and accent pieces. If you're unsure of what to purchase or just don't have the time, we can shop for you. KMDI will provide you with the receipts.
- *Minimum of 2 hours. Price does not include cost of items purchased.
